Aspire Travel Founder Wins Inspirational Women in Business Award

We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news from the Aspire Travel team.

Our founder, Kelly Baldwin, has been recognised with an Inspirational Women in Business Award in the Travel Expert category, celebrating her leadership, vision and the rapid growth of Aspire Travel since launching less than five years ago.

For Kelly, the recognition is about far more than a personal milestone - it reflects the dedication, passion and commitment of the entire Aspire Travel team.

From Career Change to Travel Success

Kelly became a travel agent in 2021 after a successful career in recruitment. What began as a leap of faith quickly turned into something far bigger.

Today, Aspire Travel operates two thriving high-street travel hubs:

• The Travel Hub in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, which opened in 2024

• The Travel Hub in Thrapston, Northamptonshire, which opened in July 2025

Together, these locations support a growing team of 10 travel specialists, helping clients plan unforgettable holidays around the world.

Despite entering the industry without prior travel experience, Kelly’s ambition was always clear: build a modern travel business that delivers exceptional service and genuine expertise.

Both travel hubs became profitable quickly, and the business continues to grow strongly year on year - with sales currently 33% higher than the previous year.

As demand continues to increase, the Aspire Travel team is already exploring future expansion opportunities, while ensuring the same high standards of service and personal care remain at the heart of the business.
