What was the purpose of this educational trip? This trip gave me the opportunity to experience the Ikos brand and “Infinite Lifestyle” concept first-hand. By staying in the resort and exploring its facilities, I was able to understand the accommodation, dining, and unique experiences on offer - all essential to confidently guiding clients and creating unforgettable holidays.

Who hosted/organised the trip? The trip was expertly organised by Leiza Sullivan, Regional Sales Manager (North), Sani/Ikos Group, ensuring every detail ran smoothly and professionally. Where did you stay and what stood out about the accommodation? I stayed in a Superior Garden View room, which is a standard option, and it was beautifully designed, comfortable, and well-equipped. The resort offers a wide range of luxurious options, including modern rooms, suites, and the largest private villas in the Ikos portfolio - some with private pools and gardens. Everything exudes style, privacy, and attention to detail.

What excursions, site visits or resort tours did you experience? We conducted a full site inspection of the resort, including the Panoramic Suite and a 3-bedroom villa. Each room featured air conditioning, heating, a mini bar (replenished daily), flat-screen TV, Nespresso machine, complimentary Wi-Fi, and luxury bathroom amenities. The resort’s attention to detail across rooms and facilities was impressive.

Were there any standout experiences or “wow” moments? The food and dining experiences were unforgettable. With nine restaurants - eight à la carte and one buffet - all crafted by Michelin-starred chefs, the variety and quality of cuisine is exceptional, included at no extra cost. From Mediterranean flavours to Asian-inspired menus, every meal felt special.

Who is this destination best suited to? Ikos Andalusia is perfect for families, couples, honeymooners, single travellers, and multigenerational holidays. The resort has something for everyone, whether it’s relaxation, adventure, or indulgent luxury.

• Arrival lunch at the Beach Club: fresh Mediterranean dishes

• Anaya: Chinese, Indian, and Thai cuisine à la carte dinner by Chef Thiou

• Fresco: Italian à la carte breakfast

• Olivia: contemporary Spanish flavours

• Seasons: Mediterranean dishes infused with Asian influences (Deluxe guests only from 2026)

• Take a taxi trip to Puerto Banus for designer shops, yachts, and beautiful marina views.

Would you personally go back - and why? Absolutely! I would love to return to enjoy the resort and local area again - it’s the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and experiences.
